Ahimsa Silks

I came across this news about Ahimsa Silks.These are silk saris woven from the cocoons after the butterflies have flown out........It's surely a great idea...considering the fact that at least 30,000 silk worms are killed to weave one sari.I feel really sad to note that I've been endorsing such cruelty all these years.

But all of us who are conscious need not worry any more as we now have saris which we can wear without feeling guilty.Moreover these saris are supposed to be able to let more air in and hence we wont have to sweat and wait to take it off.
